The GRID lamp, custom-designed for the canteen space of the Main Building (The Plant), was conceived as an integral part of the architectural project, intended to engage in dialogue with the existing reinforced concrete structure and the industrial character of the interiors.
Rather than a simple lighting fixture, it acts as a spatial device, capable of organizing the technical ceiling and enhancing the perceptual quality of the shared space.
The lamp body is defined by an essential structure in satin-finished stainless steel. The outer “box”, in polished stainless steel, houses the LED panel, shielding the light source and providing uniform, controlled illumination.
The system is available in two sizes, GRID60 and GRID120, designed to adapt to the different spatial and functional configurations of the canteen. Ceiling mounting brackets, made of satin-finished stainless steel sheet bent into a “C” profile, are welded to the upper edges of the structure, allowing for an orderly integration within the exposed services ceiling.
Set within a context defined by reinforced concrete, exposed installations, and technical surfaces, the lamp helps establish a balance between industrial rigor and environmental comfort. Light thus becomes a design tool, enhancing spaces for pause and social interaction while reinforcing the overall identity of the project.
